M. Alex McGilvary, P.G.
Senior Geologist
Mr. McGilvary has 20 years of experience as a Field and Project Geologist in both large international companies and small professional firms. His experience covers a variety of functions in the environmental field including evaluation of greenfield and existing aggregate quarry sites.
At GeoSci, his responsibilities include the following:
- Management of UST closures and investigations
- Preparation of closure reports
- Performing Phase I and II Limited Site Assessments and Comprehensive Site Assessments
- Filing claims for reimbursement from the UST Trust Fund
- Performing Environmental Site Assessments, and soil and groundwater investigations
Mr. McGilvary is a Licensed Professional Geologist in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee.
